Rams Roar to Life: Dominant Win Over Marist College

by Sofia Petito

The Farmingdale State College Rams - D1 hockey season had an exciting start after their win over Marist College this past Saturday. With the perfect combination of skill, physicality, persistence, and teamwork, the Rams were able to come out on top with an impressive score of 6-2.

After talking with some members of the team, it is clear that all of the players and staff have a common goal in mind for this season. Due to a disappointing end to last year, the boys are eager not only to make it out of group play at Nationals, but to come out on top. Assistant Coach, John Cipriano, recently stated that "there is a look in the players' eyes, and a feeling in the locker room that is contagious and electric."

The motivation and determination that was demonstrated during the team's first win against the Red Foxes proves to the entire team, staff, and supporters that this is going to be the year that the Rams win it all.
