Farmingdale - DII Preview: Back to Back Games Against New Haven

The Farmingdale State Rams Division II hockey team has two games scheduled for this weekend. They'll be playing in a home-and-home series with the University of New Haven Chargers Division III team. 

The Chargers are 3-7 this season and picked up a 5-4 win in their most recent contest against the Sacred Heart Pioneers Division II team. They're led by the high-scoring duo of Peter Richetelli and Michael Pilato, who both rank in the top five of the Division III point leaders. Richetelli's 31 points are second in the Division III ranks, and he has a team-leading 14 goals for the Chargers. Pilato's 28 points are ranks fourth in Division III, and he leads the team with 18 assists. 

The Rams and the Chargers played a thrilling game in their first meeting this season. The game saw the Rams overcome a first period deficit to defeat the Chargers by a 5-4 final score. Friday's game will take place at Islanders Iceworks at 9:30 p.m. and can be viewed on LiveBarn. Saturday's game will take place at Edward L. Bennett Rink at 7:00 p.m and can also be viewed on LiveBarn.
