Farmingdale - DII Preview: Final Home Game

The Farmingdale State Rams Division II hockey team will be playing their last home game of the season on Saturday night. As part of this final home game, the Rams will be celebrating two of their graduating seniors. The two senior players being celebrated are goaltender Brendan Whelan and captain Brendan Dixson. 


In the game, the Rams will be taking on the Fordham University Rams Division I team. The Fordham Rams are led by the high-scoring duo of Anthony DeMario and Owen Goulette. DeMario leads the team in assists (24) and total points (41), while Oulette has 39 points and a team-high 23 goals. DeMario and Oulette’s point totals also rank first and second amongst the Division I ranks, respectively. This will be the second meeting between Farmingdale and Fordham this season. Farmingdale got a 5-3 road victory in their first meeting. They’ll be looking to sweep the season series and get one last win in front of their home crowd this season.
